Why is Karl Rove now attacking Michele Bachmann? He says Republicans shouldn't go the Tea Party route?

He knows what going to happen. The tea baggers won't let a moderate republican win, and the independents won't let a tea bagger win. The only chance the republicans have is if they can unite, and win over the independents. And the bags are too hateful, and uncompromising to do that. In other words, the republicans will have to do a lot of damage to the economy to win in 2012.
