So the establishment republicans took down Sarah Palin, can they do the same for the Trumpster?

Nobody takes Palin seriously as a candidate after the traditional republican powers that be took her down, but can they do the same for Trump? They are certainly trying, with stalwarts like George Will and Karl Rove hating on him. But they may have used up all their ammo on Palin.
